you still will be able to eat whole foods. just chew with the opposite side of your mouth when you get the tooth pulled. and with braces you just have to be careful of certain foods. like super sticky, or hard foods caramels. apples, celery etc.. you could always drink protein drinks or drinks like ensure to get vitamins.
